Question

What happens if there is no inertia?

Open in App
Solution

  1. Law of inertia states that a body remains in its state of rest or uniform motion continuously unless it gets disturbed by an external force acting on it.
  2. When there is no inertia, a moving body will keep on moving and it won't come to rest, and a body in rest will be in rest continuously there will not be any movement.
  3. If the inertia is absent then, mass is also absent.
  4. In that case if an object is moving its acceleration will be infinity.
