Just like other vitamins vitamin K is also essential for our body. It helps blood to clot and give strength to bones.
Deficiency of vitamin K can cause:
* prolonged time of blood clot
*Reduced bone strength
*Osteoporosis(a condition where bones becoming weak)
*Easy bruising
*Blood in urine
*Excessive bleeding from wounds
*Heavy menstrual period in females.

The main sources of vitamin K is milk, leafy vegetables, cucumber, broccoli, red meat, egg yolk etc.
