Heating sulfur at a high temperature

• On heating element sulfur, it begins to melt at ${115}^{\mathrm{o}}\mathrm{C}$.
• At the temperature above ${200}^{\mathrm{o}}\mathrm{C}$, the yellow colour of sulphur gets changed to red and at ${400}^{\mathrm{o}}\mathrm{C}$, it begins to boil.
• ${\mathrm{S}}_8\stackrel{∆}{\to }\mathrm{Yellow}\mathrm{sulfur}$
• Before reaching the boiling point, the process of vaporization starts.
• At temperatures above ${445}^{\mathrm{o}}\mathrm{C}$, sulphur will ignite.
