Solution

The correct option is B

- 2x + 14

Let the term which is to be added to x2+3x8 be P.

Then, (x2+3x8)+P=x2+x+6

P=(x2+x+6)(x2+3x8)
=x2+x+6x23x+8
=2x+14
So, 2x+14 is to be added to (\x^2 + 3x - 8\) to get (\x^2 + x + 6\).
