Cell is the structural and functional unit of all living organisms.
It is called the "building block of life."
It is the smallest unit that combines together to make up the tissues.
Based on the number of cells present, organisms are classified as unicellular and multicellular.
Organisms consisting of a single cell are called unicellular. Example: Bacteria, Paramecium.
Organisms consisting of more than one cells are called multicellular. Example: plants, animals.
