  • The median of a triangle is a line segment that joins a vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side.
  • The median bisects the opposite side.
  • Median bisect the triangle into two equal area i.e.ar(ABD)=ar(ADC)
  • In a traigle only 3 median exist and they intersect at one common point which is known as centroid of the triangle.
