  5. A mature human's blood pressure should be 120/80 mm Hg.

The instrument used to measure blood pressure:

  1. A device known as a sphygmomanometer is used to measure blood pressure.
  2. This device includes mercury, which increases in concentration as blood pressure rises.
  3. Because there are numerous factors that influence blood pressure readings.
  4. Hence blood pressure readings fluctuate frequently.
  5. As a result, blood pressure must be tested multiple times to acquire an accurate reading.
