Asexual reproduction:

  1. Asexual reproduction is a form of reproduction in which there is no fusion of gametes or alteration in the number of chromosomes.
  2. The newly created people are clones of their parents since they have the same genetic makeup and physical characteristics.

Budding:

  1. An asexual method of making new organisms is budding.
  2. A new organism is created in this procedure from a tiny fragment of the parent organism.
  3. A newly created bud separates to grow into a new organism. As it continues to develop, the newly formed organism is still attached to the parent body.
  4. For example - In hydra, the process of budding results in the development of a small bud from the parent hydra through numerous rounds of mitosis.
