Solution
Cloning is the method of production of genetically and morphologically identical copies of their parents.
Dolly was the first mammal to be cloned successfully.
In the process of cloning Dolly, the nucleus from the mammary cell of white Finn Dorsett sheep was first removed and then an unfertilised egg cell from Black ewe was enucleated.
The nucleus of the mammary cell of the white sheep was then added to the enucleated egg cell of the Black ewe.
This hybrid egg cell was then allowed to develop into an embryo.
The embryo was further transferred into Black ewe to develop into a newborn sheep named as "Dolly".
