• When no rainfall takes place in a place for a very long time, it rises to a situation of dry and infertile land called drought.
• When a place hits with drought, there becomes an extreme scarcity of food in that particular region.
• This extreme scarcity of food is called famine. Because of this large population dies of hunger.
