Open in App
Solution

Chloroplast are semi-autonomous organelles, i.e. they have their own genetic material (DNA) from which they can synthesize the proteins needed for their functioning. RNA acts like messenger for synthesis of proteins from the DNA. Hence, it plays a vital role in the functioning of chloroplast.
