Diffraction of light is the phenomenon of bending of light ray at the sharp edge of the obstacle placed in its path.
Given : λ=5000 Ao=5×107 m
Slit width d=2×105 m
Angular width of central maxima θ=2λd
θ=2×5×1072×105=0.05 radian
