Open in App
Solution

Fungi have either a septate or an aseptate hyphae. If the hyphae have numerous cells and the cells are divided by a wall called septum then they are called septate hyphae. The septum have pores through with nutrients can pass through. When a cell if formed at the apex, the septum is not formed immediately. As the cell matures the wall grows separating the two cells.
