Internal fertilisation:
  • Internal fertilisation refers to fertilisation that occurs within the female body.
  • In internal fertilisation the male animals put his sperms into the female body. These sperms then fertilise the eggs inside her body. Example : In human beings.
External fertilisation:
  • External fertilisation refers to fertilisation that occurs outside of the female body.
  • In external fertilisation, the male and female animals release their sperms and eggs in water where fertilisation takes place. Example: In frogs.
