Thermodynamics is a branch of chemistry that generally deals with the flow of heat and the factors affecting them.
In thermodynamics we deal with system and their surroundings and the whole comprises of the Universe.
Therefore, the system is the part of the universe on which we are working and the remaining part is the surroundings.
In thermodynamics there are three types of system: Open system, Closed system, and, Isolated system.
There are generally seven types of processes bein involved in this, and they are as follows: isothermal process, cyclic, isobaric, isochoric, reversible, irreversible, and adiabatic.
Among all the processes, the isothermal process is the slowest process in which temperature remains constant.
