Blood pressure:

  1. Blood pressure is the force or pressure caused by blood circulation via the circulatory system.
  2. When heart pumps, the blood pressure exerted against by the artery walls is called as systolic blood pressure.
  3. The pressure exerted by blood against by the vessels when heart is at resting stage between beats is called as diastolic blood pressure.
  4. Between 90/60 mm of Hg to 120/80 mm of Hg is considered ideal blood pressure.
  5. The normal systolic blood pressure is 90 to 120, while the normal diastolic blood pressure is 60 to 80.
