What Is the Aim of the WTO?
The following are the aims of WTO:
(1) For setting and enforcing rules for international trade
(2) Providing a forum for negotiating and monitoring of further trade liberalization
(3) Resolving trade disputes that arise between two or more nations
(4) Increasing the transparency of decision-making processes
(5) Co-operating with other major international economic institutions involved in global economic management
(6) Helping developing countries to benefit from the global trading system
