Solution

Explanation:

Protozoa which are included in the kingdom Protista, are single celled heterotrophic eukaryotic organisms. Depending on their mode of locomotion.

The classification of protozoans is done in four types:

  1. Amoeboid protozoans: They are unicellular, mainly found in fresh water, sea water and moist soil. Eg: Amoeba and Entamoeba
  2. Flagellated protozoans: They are free-living, photosynthetic flagellates without the cell wall. Eg: Trypanosoma
  3. Ciliated protozoans: They are aquatic individuals that form a large number of protozoans. Eg: Paramoecium
  4. Sporozoans: They include disease-causing endo parasites and other pathogens. Eg: Plasmodium
