Solution

  • Asthma is chronic diseases characteristed by recurremt episode of airflow narrowing but Bronchitis is inflammation of airway of broncholie due to infection of bacteria, virus, fungi
  • Asthma patients often experience tightness in the chest and wheezing during attack but Brochitis patients causes hacking cough and mucus secretion
  • Asthma is allergic form of diseases caused by eisonophils but Bronchitis is caused by neutrophils

ASTHMA and BRONCHITIS, two respiratory conditions of the lungs, the first one is characterized as recurrent breath spasms, shortness of breath, chest tightness and a wheezing sound while breathing whereas the latter one caused an inflammation in the bronchiolar region of the lungs which causes difficulty in breathing and irritation in the throat due to a yellowish thickened gel like substance attached to the inner side of the bronchioles. This gel like substance is known as sputum or mucus comes out of the mouth during coughing. Bronchioles are small tube like structures in the lungs which carries air to and from the lungs so any sort of blockage in them will lead to these respiratory conditions.

The term Asthma is often confused with Acute Bronchitis because both of them are characterized by airway obstruction but the only thing that separates them is the duration of obstruction which in case of asthma is shot lived. However, in case of Acute Bronchitis not just the airway obstruction is long-term but more severe and chronic.
