Braided river Distributary
1. Braided are small and temporary rivers that are formed due to islands, etc. It often comes back and joins the main river. 1. It is a branch of river which does not return to the main stream after leaving it.
2. For eg- Jamuna-brahmaputra 2. For eg- Hooghly-ganga.
