What is the difference between ‘fibrous protein’ and ‘globular protein’ ?
Fibrous proteins: Polypeptidex chains which are running parallel are held together by hydrogen and di sulphide bonds, fibre like structures are formed.
Ex: Keratin, myosin
Globular protein:- This structure results when the chains of polypeptide coil around to give a spherical shape.
Ex: Insulin, albumin
