Both Lens and Mirror are optical devices operating on light and are used to change the path of light to produce the desired effect, either by converging them to a common point or diverging them away from a point
There are few differences between them.
The differences are:
Mirrors work on the principle of reflection whereas Lens work on the principle of refraction
Mirrors are coated with non-reflective material on one side, whereas no polishing is done for Lenses
A perfect mirror reflects 100% of light incident on it whereas a perfect lens refracts 100% of light passing through them
There are two types of mirrors whereas there are six types of lenses
