Open in App
Solution

Dear Student, Both the inferior and superior vena cava carry deoxygenated blood from body to heart and both enter right atrium of the heart. The difference between the two is that superior vena cava carry blood from upper parts or the upper half of body while inferior vena cava carries blood from lower body parts towards the heart.
