What is the difference between the fraction and rational numbers?

A number of the form ab, where “a” and “b” are whole numbers, and b is not equal to zero is known as fraction .

On the other hand, A rational number is a number that can be written in the form pq, where p and q are integers and q0. The denominator of a rational number can never be zero.

All fractional numbers are rational too. But all rational numbers are not fractional.
