1. Vaccines are the harmless version of the disease causing microorganism used to prevent the infection from that particular microorganism. 1. Antibiotics are the chemicals that treat the infection caused by the disease causing microorganism.
2. Vaccine is used to prevent the disease.2. Antibiotics are used to treat or cure the disease.
3. It is administered before a person is infected i.e.; before the occurrence of the disease3. It is administered after the person has been infected.
