Gas contains single phased particles whereas vapour contains two phases like liquid and gas phase.
Gas is formed at boiling point or after boiling point whereas vapour is formed before reaching the boiling point only.
Gas is formed by the process of boiling but vapour is formed by the process of evaporation.
