Solution

The mesosphere is a layer of Earth’s atmosphere. Temperature decreases with height throughout the mesosphere. The coldest temperatures in Earth’s atmosphere, about -90° C (-130° F), are found near this layer’s top. Temperatures in the mesosphere decrease with altitude. Because there are few gas molecules in the mesosphere to absorb the Sun’s radiation, The mesosphere is above the stratosphere and extends to around 53 miles high. This layer’s top is the coldest part of Earth’s atmosphere, and meteors burn up in this layer.
