Adolescence:

1. It is the phase of life between childhood and adulthood.
2. According to the World Health Organization the time period of adolescence starts from age 10 to 19 and is considered an Adolescent age.
3. It is an important phase for the foundation of good health.
4. In this phase adolescents experience rapid physical, cognitive and psychosocial growth, biological growth and development, increased decision making, and pressures are the characteristics of adolescence
5. There are 3 stages in adolescence, namely early adolescence from age 10 to 13, middle adolescence from age 13 to 16, and late adolescence from age 16 to 19.
6. So, the final stage of adolescence is late adolescence.
