Solution

Ciliary Muscles:

  1. The ciliary body is a circular structure and it lies between the iris and choroid.
  2. The ciliary process produces the fluid in the eye called aqueous humor.
  3. And it also contains the ciliary muscle, which changes the shape of the lens when your eyes focus on a near object.

The function of Ciliary Muscles are

  1. The ciliary muscle enables accommodation of the eye.
  2. The ciliary processes produce the aqueous humor in the posterior chamber eye.
  3. The humor flows through the pupil into the anterior chamber of the eye, where it is absorbed into the scleral venous sinus (the canal of schlemm)
  4. And its posterior surface faces the vitreous body and provides it with glycosaminoglycans.
  5. Relaxes tension on the lens.
  6. The lens becomes spherical which increases the refractive power.
