  1. Inside the nucleus, there are one or more than one non-membrane-bound large and dense bodies called the nucleolus.
  2. It is made up of a large amount of RNA (ribonucleic acid) and proteins which are used in the formation of ribosomes.

Function:

It helps to store all proteins of the ribosomes and is the site of ribosome formation.
