Peritubular capilaaries:- The efferent arteriole emerging from the glomerulus forms a fine capillary network around the renal tubule called the peritubular capillaries. Their main function is secretion and reabsorption.

Efferent arteriole:- Blood from the glomerulus is carried away by an efferent arteriole.

Afferent arteriole:- Blood enters the kidney by the renal artery which branches into finer arteries before entering the glomerulus of a renal corpuscle as an afferent arteriole.
