Addison's Disease:

  1. This is a condition which shows symptoms of extreme weakness and fatigue, dehydration, etc.
  2. Addison’s disease (adrenal insufficiency) is a hormonal disorder which explains the inefficiency of the adrenal cortex to produce its hormones like corticosteroids.

A 2009 study concluded that the average life expectancy for men with Addison’s disease is 64.8 years and 75.7 years in women.

  1. It can be deadly disease especially in youngsters.
  2. It may cause acute adrenal failure, infection and sudden death.
  3. With proper medications, its life expectancy can be normal.
