Molar mass of H2SO4 =98 gm/mol=Mm

D=density=1.84 gm/cc

w/w=98%

V=1dm3=1L=1000 ml=1000 cc

Mass of solution =V×D

M=1000×1.84=1840 gm per 1000 cc

Using w/v, 98% of 1840 gm=H2SO4=98100×1840=1803.2 gm=m

No. of moles =mMm=1803.298=18.4 moles per 1000 cc

Thus, molarity =18.4M (18.4 mol/dm3)
