What is the order of preference of stability of carbocation.
Carbocation: An organic species which has a carbon atom bearing only six electrons in its outermost shell and has a positive charge is called carbocation. The positively charged carbon of carbocation is sp2 hybridized. The unhybridized p-orbital remains vacant. They are highly reactive and act as reaction intermediate.
Stability of Carbocation: 3o>2o>1o>CH+3
Its stability can be explained with the help of Inductive effect, Hyper Conjugation and Resonance effect.
