DNA is passed on to the offsprings through gametes from the parental generation. DNA is a doubled helical structure having nucleotides. These nucleotides are made of deoxyribose sugar, phosphoric acid and nitrogenous bases such as adenine thymine, cytosine and guanine. James D.
