$2 x - 1 = 0$
$x = \frac{1}{2}$
$= 2 \times (\frac{1}{2})^{2} - 3 \times \frac{1}{2} + 5$
$= 2 \times \frac{1}{4} - \frac{3}{2} + 5$
$= \frac{1}{2} - \frac{3}{2} + 5$
$= \frac{1 - 3 + 10}{2}$
