Right-Hand Rule

  1. It is commonly used for the conception of the inclination of axes in 3 dimensional space or the variables that point in these three dimensions.
  2. When the direction of two variables is known, we can easily determine the direction of the third variable
  3. It is stated by the right-hand rule to determine the direction of the magnetic force on a positive moving charge.
  4. Point your right thumb in the direction of the velocity (v), your index finger in the direction of the magnetic field (B)then your middle finger will point in the direction of the resulting magnetic force (F).
