Lets calculate electron pair of SF4

ep=(V+L+AC)2=(6+4)2=5

(Central atom S, Valence 6)

5ep Trigonal Bipyramidal

Now,

ep = 5 and Ligands = 4 bp = 4 and lp = 1

Therefore, we can have two structures
