Solution

Dear Student
The stone age was believed to have lasted for 3.4 million years. It was between 600 BC and 2000 BC. It was followed by bronze age and Iron age. The stone age is so-called as there was the first-ever use of stone devices for human survival. The equipment humans used for hunting and protection were made of stones.
