Answer- State Assembly is the body of Government which is responsible for making laws in the states. Every state has its own assembly to make laws.
A state assembly that has one house- State legislative Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) is called Unicameral legislature.
A state assembly that has two houses- the state legislative assembly and state legislative council (Vidhan Parishad) is called a Bicameral legislature.
