  • The formula for calculation of molality: Molalitym=molesofsolutemassofsolvent(Kg)
  • Therefore the unit of molality ismolKg or molKg-1.
  • Molality is an intensive property as both moles and mass are extensive, on dividing two extensive properties we get intensive property.
