Solution:

Tripitaka is an important ancient Buddhist religious text. It is written in the Pali language and comprises three categories of texts:
  1. Sutta Pitaka: It consists of the teachings or sermons of Gautama Buddha.
  2. Vinay Pitaka: It gives the rules and regulations which the bhikkhus and bhikkhunis in the Bauddha Sangha should follow in their daily lives.
  3. Abhidhamma Pitaka: It contains an explanation of Buddhist doctrine.
