Angina Pectoris:

  1. Angina Pectoris is a medical term for chest discomfort or pain as a result of coronary heart disease.
  2. It generally occurs when the heart does not receive a sufficient amount of blood, most probably due to one or more arteries of the heart getting blocked.
  3. Due to insufficient blood flow to the heart, heart cells are starved of oxygen and then they begin to die.
  4. Unstable Angina –
  1. Such a condition is often characterized by unexpected chest pain when a person rests.
  2. Unlike stable angina, unstable angina occurs quite unpredictably.
  3. It also changes in frequency and worsens with time.
  4. Symptoms: Chest pain, a feeling of Nausea, Fatigue, Shortness of breath.
