• Glucose is a white crystalline substance and is very soluble in water.
• Its physical and chemical properties are totally different from that of $\mathrm{C}$, $\mathrm{H}$ and $\mathrm{O}$ and Glucose cannot be separated into its constituent elements by using simple physical methods.
• When glucose is mixed with water in any proportion, a homogenous mixture is formed.
• This we could assert because it forms a mixture that is uniform in nature. The size of the particles here is very small and can't be seen through naked eyes.
• Also, solute particles can't be separated through filter paper.
