Jasmine and rose plants are capable to grow using the artificial vegetative propagation. Jasmine plant can be grown using the method of layering in which a branch is allowed to grow in the soil while attached to the main plant. When it develops the roots, it is detached from the main plant and grows independently. Rose can be grown using the stem cutting in which a branch is sliced from the main stem and put in soil. It develops roots and becomes an independently growing plant.
