  3. This is due to the fact that they possess certain defining characteristic features of living organisms and non-living entities.
  4. They can cause severe diseases in both animals and plants.

Some herbal plants can kill the virus:

  1. Herbal plants that contain components such as polyphenols, flavones, and alkaloids are thought to be effective at combating certain types of viruses.
  2. Some of the plants which show antiviral activity are Andrographis paniculata, Lindera chunii, Dioscorea bulbifera, Wistaria floribunda, Xanthoceras sorbifoli, and Aegle marmelos.
  3. Some commonly found fruits which show antiviral activities are Citrus fruits, lettuce, tomatoes, apples, grapes, and berries.
