1-Always take antibiotics under the supervision of qualified doctor.. ( because for a particular disease a particular antibiotic is prescribe)
2- Take the antibiotics as per the timings is given in your prescription ,and Do the proper course of it. (Sometime we feel like to not take the medicine any more because we start feeling better but what actually happen is the micro organism growth was just suppressed that’s why we feel better, but again we feel like suffering bad because that microorganism was not killed completely because of your improper course )
3- Different antibiotics may does drug interactions- Drug Interactions
Antibiotics, like most drugs, can interact with other drugs. Some, like Zithromax or Z-Pak (azithromycin), generally don't have many drug interactions.
But other antibiotics, like fluoroquinolones and tetracyclines, don't work as well if you take them at the same time as calcium, iron, antacids like Tums or Maalox, or foods such as milk, cheese, or nuts. If you're taking medications or supplements that contain calcium or iron, or eating dairy foods or nuts, try to take your antibiotics a few hours before consuming any of these items.
($o never forget to ask your doctor which food shouldn't be taken with antibiotic you are about to have.) :)
