Open in App
Solution

Let we should subtract the expressions k

So, from the given statement, we get

2a+8b+90-k=-3a+7b+16

2a+8b+90--3a+7b+16=k

k=2a+8b+90+3a-7b-16

Adding and subtracting like terms, we get

k=(2a+3a)+8b-7b+90-16

k=5a+b+74

Hence 5a+b+74 should be subtracted from 2a+8b+90 to get -3a+7b+16.
