Bile is triggered by:

1. Bile is triggered by the hormone cholecystokinin (CCK).
2. Cholecystokinin is secreted by the small intestine with the help of hydrochloric acid, amino acids, or fatty acids into the stomach or duodenum.
3. Cholecystokinin stimulates the gallbladder to contract, pushing bile through the cystic duct and releasing stored bile into the intestine.
