Open in App
Solution

Asexual Reproduction in Tulip:

  1. Tulips are bisexual organisms.
  2. Therefore, they can reproduce through either cross-pollination or self-pollination of seeds.
  3. Tulips, on the other hand, have the possibility to reproduce asexually.
  4. They perform this by budding or dividing their bulb roots, which is the most common form of asexual reproduction in tulip.
  5. The newly formed bulbs are genetically and morphologically identical to their parents.
  6. Reproduction through the seeds although enables more genetic variations in color and also genetic diversity.
